Our vision is to create an apartment building that serves as a sanctuary for struggling veterans, offering them not just a place to stay, but a chance to reclaim their lives. By providing essential resources and direct connections to meaningful careers, we are committed to combating homelessness and opening doors to new opportunities. Together, we can empower these heroes and help them build a brighter future.
I was sitting in group therapy sessions, listening to fellow veterans share their deeply personal experiences of disconnect and the challenges they face in finding meaning, stability, and purpose. I'm not much of a talker, so I found great value in simply listening. On my drive home, I pondered how I could make a meaningful difference in their lives. I knew I couldn’t do this alone, so I continued to reflect on ways to help.
Since I often have trouble sleeping, I decided to channel that energy into brainstorming solutions. I grabbed my whiteboard and started outlining ideas for helping service members secure jobs. I wanted to create a motto that resonated with all veterans—whether disabled, homeless, elderly, or otherwise. I aimed for inclusivity, refusing to discriminate based on age, race, or any other factor. Then, inspiration struck: cleaning!
This led me to establish “Military Veteran Cleaners, LLC,” a cleaning company that provides veterans with fair pay and the opportunity to work independently. More than just a job, I wanted to offer them a sense of accomplishment and purpose, helping them rediscover meaning in their lives.
But I didn’t want to stop there. I envisioned a community coming together to show veterans that their sacrifices matter and that we genuinely care about them. Every effort counts, no matter how small. Whether it’s a donation of 5 cents or more, the willingness to give what you can is incredibly powerful, and I respect every contribution.
My intention isn't to burden anyone; instead, I simply ask for support through donations if you're able. This desire to uplift veterans and foster community led to the creation of my nonprofit, aptly named “A Little Can Help!”
Together, we can make a difference—one small act of kindness at a time
At A Little Can Help, LLC, our mission is to serve those who have served by building strong, lasting relationships within the community and creating a reliable network of support for veterans. We are committed to empowering veterans to regain stability, dignity, and purpose in their lives.
Through safe housing initiatives, access to essential resources, and a focus on creating a sense of sanctuary, we strive to provide veterans with an environment where they can heal and rebuild.
Our organization works to eliminate financial struggles by offering guidance, support systems, and practical assistance that foster long-term independence.
We believe in restoring structure and confidence in the lives of veterans by connecting them with opportunities, mentorship, and community partnerships. By strengthening these foundations, we aim to ensure that every veteran has the support they need to thrive, not just survive.
At our core, we are dedicated to creating a compassionate, supportive space where even a little help can make a lasting difference.
